Last Friday night, 40 senior students participated in the Youth Off The Streets Winter Sleep-out enduring temperatures of 4 degrees overnight
They gained an awareness and first hand experience of what it would be like to sleep rough on our streets.

Today students represented the college and competed at the PDSSSC swimming carnival. Our Year 12 Advanced English students welcomed Emily Bosco from Into English to present on their Module A unit ‘Textual Conversations - Looking for Richard’. Students were given the opportunity to closely engage with the content, as well as participate in an informative question and answer session to strengthen their understanding of ideas, purpose and context. Students meet weekly to participate in strategy game play by engaging in the card game; Magic The Gathering (MTG). This allows for the practical application of numeracy and communication skills, and of course some fun.
