Year 10 Maths went outside to investigate applications of trigonometry in angles of elevation and depression. Students looked at using clinometers to calculate the heights of some school buildings and the slope of the school oval. ๐๐๐

๐จ๐ผ๐ Year 9 Visual Arts students have continued their exploration of portraiture. They are currently working on acrylic paintings in the style of Film Noir. Although not complete yet, their continued development in painting is quite impressive. Do we have future winners of the Archibald Prize quietly tinkering away in Year 9? Watch this space.

Year 9 are currently studying war poetry, and one of their in class activities was to create their own poem about war and its futility. Harrison created an exceptionally moving and emotive poem called โFutile Fightsโ that explores beautifully the struggles, hardship and tragedy of war.
