The College community was very saddened to hear the news of Joel’s passing whilst he was on holidays overseas
Joel graduated from St Pauls in 2011 and took up an ICT Traineeship with the Catholic Education Office Parramatta. We had often had Joel back at the College fixing our IT issues. We extend our deepest sympathy to the Galayini family at this tragic time.
Lord God, source and destiny of our lives,
in Your loving providence You gave us Joel
to grow in wisdom, age, and grace.
Now You have called him to Yourself.
We grieve over the loss of one so young
and struggle to understand Your purpose.
Draw him to Yourself
and give him full stature in Christ.
May he stand with all the angels and saints,
who know Your love and praise Your saving will.
Amen.

On this Divine Mercy Sunday, we are reminded that God's mercy knows no limits ππ. No sin is too great, and no distance is too far for His love to reach π.Today, as we celebrate the Second Sunday of Easter, we honor the devotion to Divine Mercy, given to us by St. Faustina Kowalska, who received visions of Jesus and was entrusted with the mission of spreading His message of mercy π«β¨.Through this devotion, Jesus promises the faithful total forgiveness of sins and punishment if they go to confession and receive communion today ππ. The Church also grants a plenary indulgence to those who follow the prayers and rules for the day π.
